Description
This is another installment on my daily sketch drive as it were. It started quite innocently as a diagonal line on a 1000:1000 px canvas. Then came various questions and decisions. Pterosaur? Side or three quarters view? Various layers later the decision it should be a dromaeosaur bust came rather unconsciously it seems. The animal just drew itself there.
As always I was pressed for time so the anatomical development on the lower part of the bust was rather hapless and so was the application of my clean style but I do need my sleep. However I am satisfied enough with this drawing that I may develop it later into a full body depiction.

So this was done in Photoshop using a tablet, yes?
Looks good considering it's a practice. It's always important to keep your skills up. While I think the jagged, zigzag lines are effective at showing the feathery texture, you may want to vary them a little bit more in size and frequency.
I love the fact that you have varying line thickness though. It adds a lot of visual interest.
Good job, keep practicing!
