Madonna and Child

This is a response to 's challenge bear48.deviantart.com/journal/… .

My inspiration has been Orthodox icons, especially Byzantine and Russian. The feeling is rather different - in any case, Poser is hardly the tool for a serious imitation! I just hope it doesn't look hokey.

I never considered creating a new character. Somehow it had to be Chronophontia's own Natasha. I don't know how well my posts have expressed the people that the Chronophontians are, but there's more to them than beautiful bodies!

Natasha: I really really wanted to do this. I've never been so happy.

Just a little postwork, for the baby's subtle little "halo". After all, he's really what it's about!

8 May 2011: Natasha eventually decided to have her OWN baby. Little Elena Alexeievna was born April 12, 2010. She's a year old now, and before long will be saying NYET with the best of them! (I just bet the toddler Jesus did too. "La!" in his native Aramaic. To the extent that I'm a Christian, I've always been somewhat of a Marian Christian - the mother of THAT GUY must have been a woman of immense, if not blatant, power.)
