Something with a beak

One day my co-worker Evelyn was buying some bird seed and she struck up a conversation with a customer regarding birds and feeding habits. During the conversation she squaked like a bird. That gave me an idea.

I made a comic around St. Patrick's day 2007. It have Evelyn in it wearing green clothes and a beak. I thought it was funny. Evelyn saw it and said "You'd better delete that or else." I didn't of course. Its still in my iPod.

When Evelyn gets really annoying, I threatened to make another comic with a beak. That got her to back off a little... until I had enough.

I made this comic with that specific title and told her it was going to have a beak that was bigger than the last one. Then I e-mailed it to her.

I think her mind snapped when she saw it. She was probably expecting something else. That's why I hate assumptions. You think you're getting something and then realize you're wrong. I love toying with her mind.

"FOR THE COLONY" came from "Beast Wars: Transformers". There was a predacon (bad guy) called Inferno who could transform into a fire ant. He was also fearless, powerful, loyal and a pyro. He also had a few loose screws in the head. He actually thought he was an ant instead of a robot that transforms into an ant and saw everything from an ant's point of view. He calls his headquarters "the colony", refers to his fellow predacons as "drones" and constantly calls his leader "royalty" or "my queen" which is not a good idea when your leader is a large purple T-Rex with a short temper. Beast Wars was a good show. You should see it sometime.

I hate red ants. They always bite. It could have been worse. He could have been a mosquito.
