Can you hear it? Filling the air
with a clear blue
fragrance,
                                           a mix
of lily and berries
and lime.

It isn’t music, but it is
lol
The idea for this came to me after a Chinese lesson where we learnt about 通感 which means using one of the five senses to describe something that belongs to another sense (like saying that a sound or a scent is red...)

Actually, the first thing I came up with was "The sound of the piano tastes like chocolate"...had a fit of hysterical laughter with Martin in class, and still find it funny when piano and chocolate are put in the same sentence...

Anyway, what do you think ?

I'm getting more and more overwhelmed by your greatness, O mighty one ! It seems to me free verse works even better with your style.

通感 is synesthesia ^^ Rimbaud had the actual illness (I want that too >_<), and Baudelaire wrote the "Correspondances" in that style ^^ Can I link to your poem when I'm finished with the drawing ? I've been planning a series of pics called Path-o-Logy, which will all be metaphors for rare illnesses. The first one is synesthesia ("Sing me a rainbow"). I think I showed you the pencil line ?
