The Flight of Roverandom

I'm illustrating Tolkien for my illustration project. Not this particular book, but I was thinking about it (try to guess what I chose instead). So I drew some quick illustrations to help me decide.

The bird was drawn with no reference, so it is supposed to look a bit different.

And seriously, I'm surprised how little people heard of 'Roverandom". Go read it now!
