Shiori: The Adamant Rose

Now it is time for the side characters in my OCs story .. first will be Shiori ... Suzumi's mentor and the one who took care of her before she became a sound nin.

Note: The Profile is for Shiori few years after she left the Sand Village ... she didn't really abandon the village ... just left it temporarily and was planning to return eventually .. but she never got the chance to do so.


Background:

Shiori ... born and raised in the Sand village of the Wind Country, showed signs of sharp ninjutsu skills and physical strength at the age of (9) .... Her father and mother were very proud of their daughter because of her fast progress and the bright future she would have as a shinobi of her country.

But things didn't always go the way they wanted .... around the age of (13) Shiori started disobeying every order her teacher's gave her, and started studying ninjutsus from other villages through scrolls she collected ( namely from the village of hidden rocks ) and used a very brute and wild combat style that usually hurt her team-mates during training and combat.


Her strict teacher's tried to convince her to change her style and adapt to sand jutsus ( since it still fits with her earth affinity ) but she didn't like sand jutsus and thought that stone jutsus are more effective and suits her brute combat style that she doesn't want to give up ... after many arguments with her teachers she got dismissed from the Sand village academy as being disobedient and unable to work in a team.

That resulted in her parents trying to pursue her to change her mind day and night since they coudn't stand seeing abandon her future as a Sand Shinobi .... at the age of (15) she decided to leave the whole village for good and pursue her own way in life elsewhere, so she sneaked out at night and left the village carrying her tools and scrolls with her ( actually deep inside her she planned to return at some point in the future but she even didn't want to admit that to herself )


After 2 years of traveling among many countries and facing many situations and hardships she met a band of mercenary shinobi who had a similar mindset to her ... after proving her competence she joined them in their travels, she always chose to go on very dangerous jobs on her own so that she could go all out with her destructive and brute combat style .. she liked how everyone acknowledged her skills and style regardless of anything else.

At the age of (18) she started sending messages to her parents in the sand village ( using pigeons and hawks ) to tell them she is alright and that she is content with her life as a mercenary shinobi and not coming back any time soon.


Few weeks later she was on a mission at the borders of the Cloud country when she found a dark-skinned young girl who was captive at some bandits camp, Shiori was supposed to attack and retrieve some valuable items from there and after the battle she freed the six years old girl.

For some reason she decided to take in the girl who was called Suzumi and teach her, the girl herself requested from Shiori to teach her how to fight ... strangely enough she taught her combat, self-restraint and discipline ( the later of which she didn't much of herself ) among many other things .... but what's stranger is that Shiori herself started restraining herself during combat ( giving up on her brute style little by little ) in order to allow for Suzumi to join her in her missions and learn from actual combat experience.


Nine years later Suzumi was at the age of (15) and Shiori was (27) years old, it was that time in which the Mercenary group leader decided to carry on a sneak attack on the sound village so steal some valuable items and sell them to the highest bidders or even use them in combat.

And after the confrontation with Orochimaru Suzumi had to submit to his wish in return for sparing the life of her battle weary and injured mentor Shiori, even though Shiori was very angry at Suzumi for taking such decision ( but too injured to express that ) Suzumi ignored her orders and chose to comply Orochimaru's order ( for the sake of Shiori .. or so she thought )

And it was the last time Suzumi saw Shiori, Now Suzumi decided to look again for her mentor ( who is probably 36 years old by the time the 24 years old Suzumi started looking for her again )

Is Shiori still alive ... and will Suzumi be able to find her again ? ... only time can tell !!!
