Update: New Picture 4/22/11, didn't want to redo the text 
Name: Rysta Eachen
Age: 18
Ht: 5'4"
Wt: Uh . . . I'm not asking her . . .
Hair: Reddish Brown
Eyes: Violet
Body type: athletic but curvy
Occupation: Sorceress, Horsewoman, Aardrin's Partner
Likes: nature, horseback riding, heights (the higher the better), battle practice with Aardrin
Hates: Shok'Artel, High King Gaetan, Calaen (occasionally), dresses, cities
Fears: enclosed spaces (claustrophobic), crowds, being abandoned
Good points: brave, clever, loyal, keeps all her promises
Bad points: vengeful, quick temper and slow to forgive, loves the thrill of the battle to the point where she welcomes a fight
Rysta was the only child of horse ranchers who helped and hid several of the Transformed, including her own Grandfather. Her parents were killed in front of her by the Wizard Shok'Artel when she was 8 years old. She was rescued by Aardrin (in his horse form) and taken to his Grandfather, the Wizard Tiernan. There she was trained as a Sorceress . . . and swore she would destroy the man who killed her parents. As she got older she was constantly at odds with Tiernan . . . he was trying to train her in Castle defense and how to act like a lady . . . she would go behind his back and practice Battle Magicks with Aardrin's help.
Being raised by two males (one older than her grandfather and one barely 20) was a bit of an issue, until she discovered the Flower Shop (the local town brothel) and the ladies there decided to assist in her education due to the fact that she was Aardrin's adopted sister (Aardrin was a VERY popular client). As Rysta puts it, "I suddenly had fourteen older sisters, all willing to answer any question I had." XD
Her relationship with Aardrin is completely like siblings, with him being the protective older brother (he doesn't know about the brothel thing, and Rysta isn't telling him) . . . and the two of them work well as a team.
The device in the picture is her wand . . . every magic user makes their own wand, and it has the dual purpose of a weapon/dagger and focus. When a magic user runs out of energy the wand can still be used for defense, and it can be used when blood is needed to cast spells.

I like her background a lot, it's a very interesting story, especially since I we know about her parents. I like the idea with the Flower Shop and her education! Hah so I take it that Aardrin wouldn't like her being educated by the brothel ladies, in spite of the fact that he's a client there himself? XD Great job with her dynamic pose!
