This is a photo of part of the sculpture group "The Nurses" from the Veterans' Living Memorial Sculpture Garden in Siskiyou County, California, not far from Weed. The faceless larger-than-life figures are supposed to suggest the universal applicability of the experience of war, I suppose, but I found them rather creepy.
