Bio:
Born and raised in a nest with five other siblings, Wren grew up in the grey cobblestone world of a city polluted with medieval magic. Wren's race, the ravenkin, is the result of magically mutated birds that came in contact with mystical waste runoff. As such, ravenkin are viewed as pests to be exterminated and shooed out of civilization.
Wren's flock lives as part of a ravenkin street gang that dominates two street blocks of a run-down industrial area. This was the life Wren was born into, but it was not the life he was destined for. A freak meeting with an inter-dimensional traveler named Pippin one day suddenly tore Wren from his home and opened a whole new world to him. In fact it opened infinite new worlds to him.
One long adventure later that is too long to mention here, Wren finds himself as an official travel companion to the Vagabond King. Pippin has promised to take Wren with him wherever he goes until the day that Pippin can find Wren's world again and return him to his home. Until that day comes, Wren is treated to a free home and free food (Poptarts are his favorite) in Pippin's backpack. Every day is a wonderful new adventure for Wren as he follows his restless leader through the endless dimensions of existence.

Abilities:
Wren is a one and half foot tall flightless, talking bird from a flock of street gang thugs. Though he has no extraordinary powers to offer his blue leader, he does possess a number of more subtle skills and resources that can be useful from time to time.
Lock Picking was the first skill Wren learned as a kid even before he knew how to talk fully. Wren is a pro at opening locks and even has his own personal lock-picking kit that he keeps on his person at all times.
A Mini-Firearm is another of the few personal possessions that Wren still has from his old life. Deadly to other birds, the weapon is unfortunately pretty ineffective against larger organisms, and inflicts about as much damage as a bb gun.
Stealth is a skill that comes in handy once in a while. Wren's size and guile can allow his to slip unnoticed past people and into secure areas.
A Backpack Full of Goodies is a wonderful resource and Wren has made a home for himself among the unspeakable wonders. Though he does not make a habit of stealing from Pippin, it's hard to live among so many curious objects and not play with a few...
Pippin Himself is a valuable asset and is the very reason Wren can survive at all in the multi-verse. Despite Pippin's constant complaints that Wren is useless and eats all his food, Wren knows that Pippin will always protect him and teach him all he knows about dimensional travel.
An Optimistic Attitude may not seem like a useful skill, but try traveling with Pippin for any period of time and try to stay upbeat.
