Ramiel - The Descent

“The Adversary used independence to awaken pride… I do not desire to rule above the Creator…”
At that statement, stillness enclosed the area that was so dense; it all but materialized on its own. Even the occasional wind-sighs had died down. Most considered any union to be a sinful union, but that existed only if we joint with our own kind. None ever thought of the effect of uniting with a different essence through a human Vessel. And all considered it severely.
“I shall stand with you… And join you in your resolution…” recited the voice of the being known as Azazel as he stepped ahead from the thick crowd, joining Semyazael. At his words, others moved forward also and I watched even as I myself joined with him and swore an oath to bind myself in mutual imprecations and not to desert this arrangement.
And so we descended from the realm of waiting in the quiet part of the Heavens, to merge with the spirit of earth in a new consciousness to us known as Lust.
