Where the Sun turns Silver

I know what you're thinking. 'Eh? Where the Sun turns Silver? What kind of crappy title is that?'

Well... yeah, it's a crappy title. I have major trouble with titles. But it's meant to be sort of half a metaphor. Tsar = golden = sun, Shymmer = silver = moon, and the picture is set at dusk. It's meant to be a metaphorical link between the two, by linking the sun and moon, which are kinda linked with their colours. Lame? I think so. But ah well. XD

Okay, so, that aside, here is the picture I've been working on for far too long. XD But, it was worth it, in the end.

This is a gift for ~T-Sar-Goth and Shymmer, two good friends on Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted, who basically had a dragon marriage in the roleplay server, Order. To add a bit more fun to the whole thing, there was a bit of an ingame party and people passed out-of-game gifts around, along with the in-game ones. So... yeah, was all very fun. Anyhoo, I decided to do a serious out-of-game pressie (as much as you can call it serious, it's no masterpiece, but it's my best effort. XD )

The pic is of ~T-Sar-Goth's in-game character, also called Tsargoth, who's the golden one on the right, and Shymmer, the silver dragoness on the left, enjoying a romantic flight over a lake together. Prepare for more of my lame symbolism: the snowy mountains in the background are partially a representation of Tsargoth, because he lives in a very cold northern area in Istaria called Ker'Tis (ironically, in a lair overlooking a lake, though that one's frozen ) while the trees are closer to Shymmer's home, as she lives near a large forest on the Istarian mainland. Phew. Infodumps. XD

It's the first picture I've seriously tried without lineart (the Retribution picture doesn't count, because that was actually made while this one was 1/2 way done ). My sister =Humingbird seriously helped me out with the water and sky, and bits and bobs of the background were referenced off various images I hooked up with Google. Not that I can be bothered to hunt them all down and provide links, I just thought I should say that XD

Well, here it is anyway, if you wanna see: [link] Just basically a badly-done music video (sorta thing) about Tsar and Shymmer. It's half about their partnership and half about their past failed partnerships (in the roleplay). Sorry, I'm shamelessly plugging for Istaria now. I'll shut up! XD
