Come and Dance

The water flows, the water flows,
Who knows where the water goes?
Each drop that falls down from the sky
Like teardrops from bright heaven's eye,
From stream and river the waters run
Down to the sea beneath the sun.

Come and dance, now come with me,
And we shall see what we shall see.

The cold wind blows, the cold wind blows,
Who knows where the cold wind goes?
Down from the northern land of snow,
Where midwinter's sun just does not go,
South it dances with winter's delight,
Gentled at last by warm sunlight.

Come and dance, now come with me,
And we shall see what we shall see.

The flower grows, the flower grows,
Who knows how the flower goes?
A tight green bud lifts toward the sky
When summer's warm and songbirds fly,
Unfurling, its petals peek out to see
The beating wings of honeybee.

Come and dance, now come with me,
And we shall see what we shall see.
It really needs some music, but I don't for once have a tune in mind....
