Arg! Finally!!

I am so releaved to have finished this. The center picture by itself was an undertaking, it's no wonder why I took the last few months off from it. I mean, every time I thought I was done, one tiny little detail slipped past me and I had either fix it or add it in. I swear, I am done with this one! Hope it was worth it.

Anywho, this is 's commission piece I did for him.
For those who figured it out in the preview pic, YES, it's a roboticizer. **gives you all cookies** =3

Now, for those who might be saying "what?! that's a roboticizer?! It looks nothing like it!" Let me break it down: When I was researching the roboticizer, I notice that it looked more like a transporter out of Star Trek, and for me, that design is just plain wrong. For me, the real roboticizer has to be more menacing looking, and more realistic with moving parts. But, I quickly had an idea for reimagioning it already; I thought back to the particle accelerator from Spider-Man 3, and thought that would be a cool way to turn people into robots, just as Flint Marco was turned into Sandman. So I "reinvented" the roboticizer in that fashion, putting the accelerator prongs within a large, glass bowl, surrounded by "claws." This became the end result. As you saw in the preview, I started coloring the machine with Invader ZIM lab colors, then afterward, change the colors around until I found the right shade I wanted for Croc's lab.

As for roboticizing Rika, I didn't want to process to be painless & limb-by-limb like it was in the old cartoon. In my mind, the process is on the molecular level, as every cell in the body is converted from carbon-based to silicon-based; and most of all - the whole process hurts like hell! Which is why Rika is screaming in pain in the two pics (in the right-side pic, her express has now gone beyond pain). Once the accelerator forks started turning fast, light particles enter the machine through the "air vents," and the electricity starts to blast the subject through the forks themselves.

It should be noted that this design is also what I have in mind for the roboticizer in my GekkoState & Sonic Heroes story, however in my mind, the machine is more dark and evil looking than this.

Overall, I totally am pleased with how this came out. I wanted the three pics to be like a huge comic screenshot from a movie, which is why 1.) there are the black bars, and 2.) the motion blurs of the forks are in that fashion (I actually paused my download of the SPider-Man 3 movie, and the motion blurs of the accelerator are exactly the same, so I DON'T WANNA HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT THE BLURS, ok? >:3).

I can just hear what Lord Chaso Croc is saying as he hypnotizes Kitana:

CROC: "Soon, my dear, once your lover is fully transformed, you will join her, and once your transformations are complete, together the three of us will conquer and rule the galaxy."
KITANA: **hypnotized** "Yes, oh powerful master."
CROC: "Excellent..."
