I never liked my first Oscar costume, so I decided to do something a little more obscure yet more my style - her causal wear worn in episode 13. I love the combination of colors! This was fairly straightforward to make, thanks to a nice colonial pattern I found! I did the embroidery on the jacket with the embroidery machine I run at work. That was the only tough part - the machine doesn't like metallic thread X_x.
The pictures in this set were taken at the Venetian in Las Vegas. It's a great spot for shooting ritzier costumes. However, there were Japanese tourists galore when we went to do these pictures. I was so afraid that one of them was going to recognize me (since Oscar is so insanely popular in Japan) and laugh at the silly gaijin in cosplay
