Well, here's my cheap, cheater's way of colouring her.
I just used MSPaint.
I still intend to colour her in real life using real pencil doing real work, but i wanted to see what she'd look like, especially with the black background. I think it looks good. Still cheap and unprofessional looking, but a good preview. I'd need to buy a filler black pen, don't want to waste the little line-drawing pens on all that background. But i still might make it purple, i don't know.
