Description

The Norn is Aesir's first mass production Knightmare Frame, based loosely on a Sutherland Frame while incorporating newer Britannian-stolen and Aesir-made technology improvements. In this sense, it is much like the Lancelot Club in terms of performance. It draws some design aesthetics and cockpit features from India's early Gekka model on top of Britannian aesthetics, rather than drawing influence from its mother unit, the Einherjar.

There are two types of Norns; the original produced for Aesir, and a variant used sparingly by the Order of the Black Knights, which was deployed for their use in operations during the assault on Tokyo, and operated some time afterward up to Zero's return. The original Norn features some internal systems- Geass related, that the Black Knight version does not have. It also has jump thrusters similar to that of the Einherjar, allowing it the ability to launch itself to great heights without the aid of slash harkens.

The second Norn, known as the Mk. II, lacks these features, but includes overall performance improvement to make up for the gap; they are essentially equal in performance, though the original's capabilities can be drastically enhanced depending on the pilot. While the Mk. II was eventually phased out of use by the Akatsuki, Aesir still uses both lines of the model as their primary mercenary forces, though they are slowly being replaced with newer 9th generation models.

This is a Franken designed by me and thus not an original, from-scratch creation, though it includes some original tweaks and parts in the design. Arts used belong to their original creators and not me.
