I was out chasing Hoverflies in the back yard today when I stumbled across this female Green Sweat Bee. She was just walking around, enjoying the sun I suppose, and didn't mind my being there at all, which gave me plenty of time to get some shots. She did jump back everytime the flash fired tho, heh.

Why is it called a sweat bee? I sweat nervously whenever i'm around bees, life threatenng allergy and all. This is a stunning close up though. I've tried to get one like it but do not have a powerful enough camera.
