my concept for the COW (creature of the week) contest over at concept art.
The idea behind this week's topic was to make a creature that uses spikes at a super fast speed.
In mine, the spikes of the creature's tail is used to hook into and impale its prey. It swings its tail at its prey in order to "catch" it. It then proceeds to eat it. I haven't decided if this guy secretes a paralysis-inducing poison from its spikes when it comes into contact with prey.... but I kind of like that idea too.
