Light

Description:
What is art but the play of light and dark, both literally and figuratively? This time around, we want you to play with the first part of this duality, light. You are encouraged to experiment with all kinds of light, from warm candlelight to cool moonlight to the lighting of a stage. You use light to emphasize a mood or as symbolism, even the interchange of light and dark.

Things to keep in mind:
Must have light be a prominent part of the image or story (ex. a sunset or stage lighting). This means the lighting as a key point of the piece must be blatant. Subtle hints is not going to work.
Light can be used in a symbolic way to represent emotions (ex. Ahiru's hope at the end of the series).
If you want to use the Lamp Spirit, that's fine, but the piece must still emphasize light.

To Enter:
BOTH fan art and fan fiction will be accepted.
Only entries that adhere to the rules set in the contest prompt will be accepted.
To be an official entry, you must submit your piece into the "2010 June Contest" gallery folder by the deadline.
After the deadline has passed, the folder will be closed and no new submissions will be accepted.
As per general contest rules, you are allowed to submit up to three entries. (Admin can only submit one.)
