Description
A slightly updated version of this tutorial is now available in print from Lulu!
[link] with a different picture substituted for the one from life drawing class. Other than that, it's exactly the same. I kept needing this kidsafe one to share with younger people so I figured I'd upload it.
Oh, because of the new posting policies I had to zip the PDF. Sorry for any inconvenience. Download and unzip to view.

This was EXTREMELY helpful for me. I've been trying to get back into drawing and I found a lot of tips in here really helpful at keeping me focused on my goals and to stay on track. I often pick up the pencil, practice for about a month or so and then give up for 6+ months! I've been back at it a few weeks now, and have been drawing nearly every single day. I see very subtle improvement, your sketchbook tour inspired me to keep plugging at it! Most of all I took away was that I don't need to complete every drawing and spend hours on each one. 20 quick sketches have taught me far more than 1 finished drawing! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
