Sleep Patterns: Similar to horses Omnicorns do not have long periods of unbroken sleep, but sleep in short intervals of fifteen minutes to half an hour four to five times a day, however they are most active at night and are considered nocturnal.

Physical Description

Basic Description
General:Equine in form their long legs end in cloven hooves, their eyes are one flat color with only the tiniest variations in shade to indicate the position of their pupils, there is always a black marking of some kind around or near the eye.
  At birth their mouths are nearly nonexistent but as they grow older and their teeth grow in their teeth rip open the side of their mouths, quite painfully.
  At about the same time their teeth grow in so does their first horn, by the end of their life they will have a series, running from the middle of their foreheads to the base of their necks or in rare cases to base of their spine (just before the tail), of large spikes that grow to the height of two feet a piece and serve as weapons, as these spikes grow in the Omnicorn's mane begins to fall out not growing back until the spike that in front of it is almost completely grown in.
  Their tails are long and thin with long silky hair clinging to the underside.
  These creatures are also shapeshifters able to change their form to that of a human or other mammal in order to hide themselves from potential predators, but their ears remain the same in ever form.
Male: Males are generally taller then females and have more spikes and thicker tail hair.
Female: Females' manes are longer and start growing back sooner then the males'.

Society

Brief History: The Omnicorns lived peacefully on their continent until the day that the humans came, humans, not able to see Omnicorns for the intelligent beings they were, considered them as little more then amusing oddities so they were often captured and placed in freak shows, or put to work on farmers' fields, needless to say Omnicorns aren't fond of humans, but it is forbidden by there laws to kill what they will not eat so war is quite out of the question.

Temperament
Inherent Behavior-
Generalmnicorns generally have short tempers but even in anger they are calm beasts choosing to simmer in hatred rather then do any other creature harm, they are also highly reasonable and intelligent.
Male: males are often more solitary then the females and are often roamers not truly interested in settling down on one territory.
Female: Females are fairly social and not territorial at all, though they are the gender that more often  settles in a permanent territory, two or three females from different neighboring territories may often be seen together.
Sociality: Omnicorns generally live in groups of no more then two, but these two generally have territories no larger then two to three square acres.

Family
Offspring: Omnicorn Offspring are called Omi, and are born without spikes and with their mouths almost completely sealed, omnicorns generally only give birth to one Omi though twins have been known to exist and Pairs that mate for life often have two or three children over the course of their lives.
Family Behavior-
Male: the male Omnicorns once they find a mate will generally stay with their mate until their offspring is born, after that it depends on the female and the situation they may stay and raise the newborn with their new mate in which case they more often then not become mates for life, or he may leave and never return which can be quite heartbreaking for a female.
Female: Females will generally stay with a new mate no matter what, it can be quite heartbreaking for them if their mate leaves or dies.

Powers

Special Abilities-
Transformation: the ability to transform into any other mammal including humans, using this ability is painful though and it is forbidden to use it in front of a creature that is not an Omnicorn, so their first form of defense is always to run.
Control of the Elements: limited to water, earth, wind, and fire, generally controlled through the foremost spike or the hooves.

Other

Omnicorns do not build cities or structures mainly because this behavior would be useless to them, they are not bothered by the rain, though some form of cave or thicket is often present on their territories it is more for sleep, so predators can't sneak up on them while they rest, then it is for shelter from the elements.
