Hey and welcome to Only-LineArt!

We are happy to have you on board.  Any member can submit to our "Submissions Bucket" and its subfolders.

A few little rules for submissions apply though

Firstly, please note that if your line art is a piece of line art that has just been done with various different coloured pens, it is NOT considered coloured-in!  This piece, for example, is considered line art and thus goes into the "Submissions Bucket" general folder.  To submit something to the "Coloured-In Line Art" subfolder, it has to be work that can stand alone as non-coloured line art, but that has been coloured in.  This piece for example would be considered appropriate for the "Coloured-In Line Art" subfolder.

Also, please don't submit work that contains only one colour to the the "Coloured-In Line Art" subfolder.  This type of work is still fine for the "Submissions Bucket" as well.

Thirdly, please do not submit work that is simply coloured work to the "Coloured-In Line Art" subfolder.  This is a LINE ART group, so simply submitting coloured work is just not going to fly.  If you submit work to the "Coloured-In Line Art" folder, please make sure that either (a) the lines are still clearly visible, or (b) you include a link to the original line art in the "Artist's Comments" section of your deviation.  This may seem like an anal little rule, but it is to prevent people from submitting stuff like full colour edited photos to the folder with a "it says coloured work, and it's coloured work, so why isn't it accepted" explanation.  And because some people are idiots, this means that we have to shear everyone with the same scissors, so these rules are in place for all coloured stuff.

And finally, please DO NOT submit NON-stamps to the "Stamps" folder.  This is a stamp, anything else is NOT!  If you submit non-stamps to the Stamps folder, it will be denied or deleted without warning!

You migh find this sheet especially helpful when trying to decide which folder to use for submission.

Because the group is getting quite large, the daily limit is now 2 per day for the "Submissions Bucket" and for its subfolders.

Because people seem to NOT be going to the folders themselves for specific folder rules, I've decided to add them here as well.

Submissions Bucket (any month)
Most of your line art submissions should be sent to this folder and to its two subfolders.

If you have stuff you want coloured, you should submit these to the "Bucket - Please Colour These" subfolder.  If you don't put work you want coloured in that subfolder, no one here will know that you want to have your work coloured!

If you have stuff that IS line art AND has been coloured in, you should submit these to the "Bucket - Coloured Work" subfolder.  This is for line art that has been coloured in.  

If you have a piece of line art that has just been done with a coloured pen, it should still go into this main submissions folder, NOT into the "Bucket - Coloured Work" subfolder.

Please Colour These (any month)
Stuff submitted to this folder is available for anyone to colour.  Just please link back to the original work in your "Artist's Comments".  

If you'd like to link back to this group as well, that would be awesome, but it is not required.  Simply add : icononly-lineart : to your "Artist's Comments" (without the spaces) to display our icon.

Please make sure that stuff you do submit to this folder can actually be coloured in.  This means no lines on busy backgrounds, no low resolution line art, no stuff that's already been partially coloured in!

Coloured-In Line Art (any month)
If you have line art that you or someone else has coloured in, it should be submitted to this folder.

Do NOT submit work to this folder that simply contains colour!  It WILL be denied.  This folder is for stuff that has been coloured IN!  

If you think of it in terms of a colouring book, if the piece can still be coloured in, it should NOT go here.  If you looked through a colouring book and thought "Oh, this has already been coloured in" THEN it should go into this folder, otherwise it is still good for the general "Submissions Bucket" folder.

The following types of art will NOT be allowed in this folder:

Line art that is simply done with one, or various coloured lines.

Line art that simply contains one splash of colour somewhere, but that is still relatively uncoloured.

Line art that contains only one colour!  One colour makes it a monotone image, NOT a fully coloured image.  Line art that uses only one colour should still be submitted to the main Submissions Bucket.

Line art that has been done on a coloured background.

Coloured work that shows no line art ... this is still a LINE ART group, your coloured work should still have lines clearly visible, or should include a link back to the original line art.

Line Art Stamps
Got a stamp about line art?  Go nuts and submit it to this folder!  We'd love to get a sweet little collection going here!!

Please make sure you know what a stamp is!  Go look at the stuff in the folder before submitting randomly because you can ... if you submit something that is NOT a stamp to this folder, it WILL be denied!
