Loch Lomond in the Past

This pier has seen better days. It's located near the north end of the loch, off a very steep driveway. I stalled the car five times trying to reverse out of the driveway before the front right wheel rolled up against a tree root that served as the perfect wheel chock, making it possible to release the brakes without rolling farther down the hill. I probably took a year off the clutch that day.
