Music Meme with the Dan Clan

The idea is to take a few randomly-selected tunes, songs, themes, etc... then attempt to sketch/draw something based on the music. Well, most of the tunes I have is based on a theme, so that helped with the inspiration.

Like Ultra, I chose to do this in Flash so that you could hear the themes play as you view, and so get a better idea of what I was thinking.

Pick a character, pairing or fandom... well, I picked the Dan Clan - my own characters. They're pretty versatile!
Put Media Player on Shuffle Mode - and having done that, I've picked out some themes to base the following drawings on.
One of the rules was that you had to stop drawing when the music stopped - but I'm such a perfectionist that I couldn't keep that rule... I gave myself a five-minute limit instead! And went to clean up the art a little afterwards!
Also, it said pick 10 pieces - I picked 20, since 10 is far too few to choose from, given my pretty wide-ranging music collection!

So, without further ado, here is my fill-out of this meme.
The inspirations for these twenty tunes are as follows:

1. Well, "the Munsters" was an American TV sit-com about an "average American family", who were actually a bunch of Transylvanian spooks. As such, Einspine is playing the part of Dr Frankenstein while Danbuster assumes the role of Herman Munster as he is "awoken"

2. A theme from Rayman, based on travelling in Band Land - so here, Danbuster assumes the role of RayDan, as he pursues Mr Sax across a series of floating bongos.

3. The haunted castle from Sonic Heroes - and here, Team Dan Clan face the spooky inhabitants of this weird place.

4. Retsubnad watches the movements of his rivals in his "palantír" while ominous music plays.

5. Apparently a Rayman theme to do with learning - and Danbuster always was a little backward...

6. The heavy-duty theme that plays during Team Super Sonic's battle with Metal Overlord - as such, Danbuster takes on him SuperDan form to show his enemies "just what he's made of"

7. The panpipes and ominous theme of this Pirates music certainly fits being lost in a fog, as Danbuster is here.

8. A sudden break from ominous music or movie/game soundtracks - we now have an old classic comic-song. This is just typical of how Danbuster would try to cheer somebody up!

9. Back into the ominous music, as Danbuster literally puts his foot in it, exploring dark swamps from a Rayman game.

10. This theme is bound to remind a Tolkien fan like me of the part when the Fellowship head downriver in Elf-canoes between the Argonath - though we don't see any giant statues in this picture!

11. The song based on the Plagues of Egypt. As burning hail rains down on his empire, Pharaoh Ramses II (Retsy) stares in disbelief at Moses (Dan) at a display of power far greater than his own - the Power of God!

12. The ominous theme apparently continues as Krakatoa plays Davy Jones theme on his own special underwater-organ.

13. Another break into the comedy-side, Danbuster dresses up to use his brand new combine harvester!

14. Danbuster is crazy enough to have been one of "the Goons", as he demonstrates by singing the Ying Tong Song, much to Frederick's concern...

15. This is the part of the movie when Lucy has another look inside the wardrobe to see if there really is a Narnia in there. On this occasion, she was fortunate - but I wonder what Spencer will find. Mothballs, perhaps?

16. Classic music now - and my favourite composer, Beethoven. And, attempting to conjure up an appropriate thunderstorm is Retsubnad!

17. This groovy Rayman theme is played to represent a variety of Hoodlum known as the Hoodoo - a wizard Hoodlum who casts protective spells on his friends to stop Rayman hitting them... the theme is also played during the end-credits as a King Teensie jives to the beat. Since the theme applies to wizards, Retsubnad likes this music!

18. What else could this music be associated with but Hobbits? And hey, Danbuster is a friend to all!

19. While Sonic and Tails pursue Eggman with the Tornado II, Danbuster has Marquila to rely on!

20. We end this selection with a piece of classical music - and since I hadn't any other ideas, it seemed fair enough to just show Frederick as our musical conductor, him being the most calm and sophisticated of the trio.
