Idk a lot of people asked me about hand lettering in my last tutorial, so I thought I'd throw this together super quick :U
SOMETHING I DON'T MENTION IN THE TUTORIAL:
THE AMES LETTERING GUIDE
If you can find one of these, good for you. It's the industry standard for getting consistent hand lettering, but I myself haven't had much success with it. I like to think I can keep my letters pretty even by myself. BUT YOU SHOULD PROBABLY TRY THE GUIDE OUT FOR THE SAKE OF IT, IF YOU'RE THINKING OF DOING HAND LETTERING IN ERNEST.

I disagree about the "hoagie bubble" being outright bad, happening to like or at least not mind it myself... but overall I'd say this is a great tutorial, especially with the bits about both shortening speeches for space and how to do a long speech right by splitting it into separate bubbles.
TDLR; 10/10 great tutorial.
