Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
So you know I started this plastic model kit for a change just recently;
It doesn't have a lot of parts and not a lot of different colours, so it wasn't very difficult to put together. ;o)
I spraypainted the hull with a semi-glossy black, which with a double coat of clear finish came out looking very nice I think!
I also like the landing gears: I painted the wheel bays and wheel rims a nice, metallic iron colour (91) which looks great against the matte white of the landing gears!
All in all, this smexy looking bird came out looking great I think!

I really like the end result! I grew up doing plastic kits. My ceiling was full of planes and helicopters hanging from fishing line!
Interesting story: When I was quite young, maybe 7 y/o, one of these Blackbirds flew so slowly over my house I had enough time to wonder "what's that noise??" look out of the window, see something, go outside into the street and look up to see this bird about another house's height above the street!!!!!!!!!
It came almost to a hover it moved that slow, the sound almost disappeared then the engines roared and it flew away out of sight in seconds!!
I'm 31 now so it's an experience I will not soon forget!
