Editing slides of trad. art

Description

Having problems with putting photos of your traditional works on Da?

Note:I did not show it here but keep in mind that some shots need some minor color and value adjustments.

Part one can be found here-->[link]

So I've noticed that there is a lack of tutorials on how to take and edit digital slides of traditional art. The few that are out there explain only how to do it the hard way (my way is much easier and doesn't require expensive equipment other than a decent point and shoot camera and photoshop). I was just asked how I do mine from a fellow deviant and decided that I'll let you all in on my secrets. This is actually part two, the editing process. Part one is a little more involved but is coming as that's the more important one that you all are probably more interested in.

PS: If anyone finds typos let me know so I can kill them with no mercy.

Photoshop nowadays has a Lens Correction filter that can work with a photo's EXIF data to correct lens distortions for a variety of camera makes and models. Seems it only comes with CS2 on upwards, though, so your method is still plenty valid, filter or no :)
