The Unicorn's Pool

Edit - I added a glow around the horse (the light source), hand painted some splashes, and changed the angle of the horse.

General

I did the same sort of idea of an older piece, but a lot more effectively.

Process

I did all the normal things, plus tried to make the horse look like a unicorn. This is not just the tail, but making it white and flawless. I also did a major amount of lighting. I have a tutorial on the lighting method I used - [link]
