You'd think that the fact my history bar is so cluttered with him it took me three triess to get to comic page itself would just annoy me... Yep!



Phantasma is one of my less known characters - the predecessor to Katie as a spirit bridge, and Katie's mother in an alternate version - but I think she really would get along with Lust!

Like Lust, Katie's job as a spirit bridge is basically to maintain the balance. Like Lust, she was thrust into the job with little say do to being... well... Killed; car accident; Her mom and dad's dead. She was about eighteen when this happened.

To make matters worse? It was an ACCIDENT. Spirit Bridges are made when someone with the potential dies at the proper time; her potential was at its height when she died, but no one actually had need of another spirit bridge in the area. Someone should have kept watch and made sure she didn't die - instead, she came out as a complication nobody wanted, and noone knew what to do with. (in most versions, she shares a body (though not a form) with a male, and they shift between them. In this version, she's on her own, and has probably been so for a few hundred years...)

Now, most of the vices could probably see where she's coming from. They have to deal with those pesky virtues, she has to deal with Immortals who boss her around and make her do a job she never asked for and they didn't even want her to do at the start. (Namely, beat up demons, take in ghosts - it's orgasmic! - and do whatever is necessary to keep the living world balanced out. You can think of her as a shinigami, except the goddess of death has a more... fertile side... she lives in the real world, and she's not even remotely in charge.) - but in Phantasma's case, Lust is definitely the first one she'd reach out to.

Like all spirit bridges, Phantasma (Katrina when she was alive, and in the rare instances she choooses to take human form again) - Phantasma got ghost powers, and a special power from the spirit world besides; In Phantasma's case? She got succubus powers. She feeds on sexuality, and she can't turn it off. Mind you, it's proven useful - but she was once a pretty average girl, probably even a little bit repressed sexually... Now she's the world's biggest tease, and the clubs are her buffet. Lust might not embody all those lusty, but she does catch Phantasma's eye as another girl struggling with being the embodiment of sexuality... (Particularly since Phantasma isn't TECHNICALLY a succubus, she just has succubus powers. You know, release of pheromones, feeding on sexual energy, complete ability to seduce anyone she wants... She's let her hair down a lot since the day she died. And she has a weakness for kids, too! )



This is, of course, part of . Like always, I don't actually expect anything in return - not even a zap-back. It's always appreciated, but the goal of my club is to bring artists and writers TOGETHER, breaking down the walls between us. Demanding time from already busy people, so that they can write a return to something that - in many case - I might not even have warned them about... That's not the way to do it. So I hope he enjoys, and I hope you do too.

PS: No, a spirit bridge can NOT be around a demon without turning into Hunter, but one. Succubus are creatures of lust, not death. It's a loophole

Two: the sins are part of the balance on their world; so long as they aren't messing things up, (which would turn her into hunter mode), Phantasma would be fine..,
