The Angel of the City

This is an odd piece perhaps - the idea came to me very clearly as a picture, but not with any particular "message" attached to convey. I guess it's sci-fi and/or steampunk a bit; it's set in the near-ish future. It is not meant as anti-religious in the least even though the angel has clockwork elements; the angel is meant to be a sort of general protective figure, nothing much beyond that. Nor is it intended as strongly pro-religious. Beyond that I'm still trying to figure out just what it "means," if it means anything particular at all - it is open to interpretation.
