And this awesome grunge texture was used but only really shows up on the before paint effects (see link below).
Thank you all so much for contributing to my newest art project, it was a LOT of fun!
Critiques are welcomed... especially if you can tell me which variation you like most and why... I'm really struggling with which one is "best". Other critiques are welcomed as well - I'm new at these types of art projects and welcome your input!
Software used: Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 and Painter 11. I'm still trying to get better at my Photoshop so it was a bit neglected this time around.

Wow, I love ALL the versions, But i'll comment on this one because i think this one just appeals to me a little bit extra! 
Beautiful idea, i love the soft pastel colours and the strong oily looking brush strokes. It looks wonderful, like a bright fairytale scene painted onto canvas. Beautiful idea!
