This painting is extremely difficult to capture, and I found that it actually photographs better not in natural light. So here it is again. I still hate it like poison, especially as a thumbnail, because it just looks so "dirty"... Regardless, thank you for your patience

This is the first painting I've ever made using a projector. Shawn provided the line art based on an idea I had which celebrates my love for Häagen-Dazs' amazing ice cream, specifically my favourite flavours, which always involve cherries (and which they discontinue sporadically), such as Brandied Black Cherry, Cherries and Cream...
It's nice to move away from highly emotional work once in a while and focus on something that's purely fun.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactFirst of all i must say that i usually do not read the text under the picture because it takes somehow much of the magic that lives in the picture itself. The first thought was "An angel somewhere in space". Then i looked closer and got the final impression of this picture. "A woman bathing in cream with ice-cream on her head and cherries in her hands." I suddenly got the strong wish to buy myself a big pot of ice-cream *it is 9 pm in germany now so all shops are closed*.
The colours:
Oh my god, this colours are awesome. They make you feel some kind of spirituality, a vast extent but even allow your eye to differ between the star spotted sky and the waving foreground.
Imagination:
Hmm... when i look at this painting i get the strong feeling to order myself a big jumbo cup of ice-cream. The woman is bathing in cream, the strawberry ice on her head, the cherrys in her hands. The smell and taste going upwards from her in streams. This picture can speak right to your senses of smell and taste. Can't you taste the cream on your tongue and smell the scent of the cherries? I can!
Eroticism:
This picture has its very own way of eroticism. The way she hides her breasts and her look is inviting the watching person to "taste" her. She is like the forbidden fruit, near enough to reach, wonderful in taste, but somehow forbidden.
Comment:
Hmm... *searching* "DARLING!!! Where did you put my ice-cream!!!???" Oh... sorry! I forgot... uhm... yes. Ok. I suppose this is the point where i should say something like "Wow... impressive... unbelievable" but i don't. I do it my very own way.
~The day i came over to your profile was one of the most important days for me, because i was allowed to take a look in your way of thinking, seeing, feeling and drawing. Some people just see a picture and go away, but i, i taste it with all my senses. I feel the emotion in each line and can catch the threads of your thoughs for a while during the time that i may look at this beautyful piece of artwork.~
