I took my shiny new script brush for a test drive this afternoon. The brush is awesome but I'm a little less impressed with my watercolour paint and watercolour paper. Neither behaved how I expected, but then again I am inexperienced with this medium so it could be just me.

The watercolour portion of this painting was pretty blah on it's own, but right before I tossed it in the trash I decided to try adding some ink outlines. I dug through my old art supplies and found my squid ink brush pen. I had completely forgotten how magical it is!

Sadly, I messed up his little koi moustache (which sucks because I koi and their little moustaches). Also, I intended for the koi to be a bit more orange...I dunno what happened there...Oh wells, live and learn.
