What if...

She looks down at the test. oh god. . . are the first words to her mind. This can't be happening! Where the next 4 that came to mind. She had to tell her husband about this, but their mother. . . What will they think?

"Kylie, is something wrong?" Tyler knocks on the door of the bathroom. Kylie opens the door and hands him the test. He falls through the floor. . . Literally. It's not like they were dreading this moment. They were happy, but scared. Scared for the soon to be, beating of their life. If they could only get out of the bathroom. . .

Any moment now Elissa is going to burst through the front door. . . They could hear the door slam and the sound of voices. Tyler reached through the floor and brought Kylie to his level for safety. "It's ok Kylie, What's the worst they could do?"

"Akane!" Was the first word they heard, but after what felt like hours to the couple hiding in the floor, they heard the dreadful knock on the door. Tyler lift his head out from the floor, "Who is it?" He tried to be as monotone as possible, but of course his mother saw right through that.

"It's your mother. . ." Midnights voice was cold and deadly. "I would like to speak with you." After that, the furious mother was silent, no matter what Tyler said.

"Can't open the door right now. . ."

Silence

"I'm. . . Washing my hair?"

Silence

"I just need some time alone!"

The silence was getting too much to bare.

"I'M HIDING IN THE FLOOR!" He screamed and duck his head under again. Midnight burst the door down with one kick and stood over the ground where they hide. The ferocious vampire mother hit the floor once, but it only left a dent in the tile, followed by an ugly hiss.

"Starlight!" Was the next scream out of the old vampires throat. Starlight walked in normally, like nothing was happening, until she hear the news. A growl erupted out of her throat, almost making the walls shake. All was silent once more.

"What do you think is going on up there. . ." Kylie asks, curiosity taking over.

"I guess we can't hide down here forever. . ." Tyler replied, took Kylies hand, and they rose from the floor, just to find Midnight and Starlight standing there, their arms crosses, and a look of pure discipline on their faces.
Tyler closed his eyes tightly and hugged Kylie tightly, almost in a cowardly way. Kylie hugged him back, hiding her face in his shirt. Suddenly the two mothers started bursting into laughter. Starlight hugged her daughter and congratulated her. Their faces showed everything, they still stood holding each other, their face's turned toward their mothers, with the look of pure shock on the snow white faces of their children.

"We were kidding, I wanted to talk to you guys but since you wouldn't come out I though maybe I should come in." Midnight said simply, making it sound like breaking down a door and almost ruining the floor, not a big deal. At the children's lost for words, Akane walks into the bathroom, and looks around.

"Did Tyler forget how to use the bathroom again?"

"Shut up Akane!" Tyler and Kylie scream in unison as the mothers laugh.

"Wait til Josh hears about this." Midnight laughs again. "I think he would love this story!"

"That was unfair mother! If you tell father I'll….I'll!"

"You'll what?" Came a familiar voice. It seemed like everything froze, time, place, even all of existence, and Midnight turned around, to see Josh in the doorway, along with Lucas, Patrick, and the rest of the gang.
