Chapter 12: Naruhina: Almost there




Naruto Sakura and Sai were out on the training field. For the last two days during training Sakura had been pestering Naruto with the same question.
" Well did you do anything about it yet?"
" No Sakura I haven't"
Naruto covered his head but Sakura didn't hit him she just stood there tapping her foot against the ground.
" Have you been trying?"
" Yes, I want to do this right Sakura do you think I  haven't tried to find her. I have done everything short of knocking on the Hyuga compound door. I have seen Kiba, Shino, Neji and Tenten they all say they were just with her or had seen her but when I look Hinata is no where to be found."
Naruto kicked the ground
" Why are you looking for Hinata?" Sai asked
Sakura put her hand under her chin
" Come to think of it I haven't seen Hinata either I wanted to talk to her but she hasn't been around."
" How come you are looking for Hinata did you two misplace another friend?" Sai asked
" Not now Sai" they both said in unison
" But I have seen her plenty of times with Kuin."
Naruto looked furious
" What?"
" Yeah, I did say I would return the favor so I treated Kuin when he was with Hinata the other day to dinner."
" Did Hinata say anything about me or Naruto, Sai?"
" Not really actually it was odd but the minute anyway began to mention you or Naruto's name Hinata hurried up and changed the subject real fast."
"Some one who else did you go with?"
Naruto wanted to know
" Well the second night it was Neji, Tenten, Kuin, Hinata, Kiba and Shino. I bumped into them on the street on the way home form training. Hinata was nice of enough to ask whether or not  I wanted to join them and since I find her rather attractive I went. Is something wrong with that ?"
Sakura was holding Naruto back.
" No Sai you can go to dinner with who ever you want still it seems funny to me that neither Naruto or I have seen Hinata around."
" It's not that odd everyone knows that Naruto has liked you for awhile. I mean we have all heard him ask you out before. Now that you are two are dating you must be off in what do they call it a lovers paradise."
Sai barely got his sentence out before Naruto yelled.
" I absolutely do not like Sakura like that and we are definitely not dating nor will we ever. Sai you haven't told anyone that we are have you ?"
" No but  you are aren't you."
Sakura looked like she was going to kill Sai. She was always very scary when she got mad.
" Sai didn't you just hear Naruto tell you that we are not dating. An neither of us has any feelings for each other besides friendship. Do you understand ?"
Sakura had her fist balled up to hit Sai. But Kakashi closed his book rather loudly and looked at Sakura. He knew exactly what was going on here but he was just going to pretend not to.
" Don't you two think that you are making a big deal out of some possible rumors?"
" No" Sakura stated and turned her back to Kakashi
" Absolutely not" Naruto put his hands on his hips.
Kakashi just raised and eye brow at the two of them.
" It is just that Hinata's my friend and I don't want her to be mad at me for doing something stupid. Plus Naruto realized that he is in lo."
Naruto put his hand over Sakura's mouth
" Don't mind Sakura, Kakashi and Sai you are right we are just making a big deal out of nothing."
Naruto pulled Sakura aside
" You almost told them Sakura I want to tell her first before to many people know and she doesn't hear it from me. It is important that Hinata hears this from me before any rumors reach her I want to see her face light up and smile."
Sakura waved her hand at him
"okay fine"
They walked back over and Kakashi said  
" Alright we are done for today and why don't we get ramen together tonight so we don't have to integrate Sai again. It will be my treat."
Team 7 walked together to go to Naruto's favorite spot Ichiraku Ramen.





Hinata was with Kiba, Akamaru, Shino, and Kurenai they had all been training hard and decided to call it quits early. Hinata had been running the boys into the ground with training that is all she did was train and eat for the last two days. Hinata was pouring herself into her training to kill any pain she might feel. Of course they all knew when she did this something was brothering her but she would tell them when she wanted to.
" Hey let's go to Ichiraku ramen." Kiba said
" That is okay with me" Shino responded
" No thank you"
Hinata sprinted off. Just as a spiky blonde hair, blue eyed ninja rounded the corner with his team mates.
" Hey guys how is it going? I thought I saw Hinata to."
A slight blush came across Naruto's face.
Kiba looked around and covered for Hinata
" She was just here actually but she has that extra training session."
" We  are heading to Naruto's favorite spot your team care to join us Kakashi."
Kurenai jabbed his shoulder
" We were just on our way there."






Hinata stood behind the fence she thought that was a close call. She wiped at a tear that had escaped against her will. Hinata wanted so badly to see him and his smile she wanted to look at his eyes so she sneak a peek of Naruto from behind the fence it was only a glimpse but it was enough. When she got back to the Hyuga compound they all ate dinner together a little earlier and got the extra training session done early as well.
" Hey beautiful me and Neji are going into town tonight to meet Tenten want to be my escort?" Kuin asked her
" No thank you Kuin I think I will go to my room for the night."
" Okay I will just have to find another lovely lady to escort me then." Kuin Stuck his tongue out at her. Hinata laughed.
" Have fun and try to behave yourself."
Hinata didn't feel like going out on the town because what she really desired was to be alone at her spot and to train more. So she did what she would normally would pretend to be going to her room for the night even though it was slightly early and sneak out. Hinata was of course heading to the training fields. She had to be extra careful not to get seen the sun was just about to go down and most of her friends were still out and about . It was a little early to start her training but she intended to wait until the first star twinkled into the sky. She found a tree and sit at the bottom of it with her knees curled next to her chest and her arms holding them she loved the time when the sun was setting and twilight was about to take over. Since she had been a little girl she would often come out here to watch the sunset she would wish that a certain spiky blonde haired  boy who no one ever noticed unless he was causing mischief would be sitting next to her. Here she was years later still wishing that Naruto was with her. It seemed  a bit hopeless not give up on Naruto but Hinata didn't know how to give up. That is something that she had learnt from watching Naruto over the years. Hinata realized the last two days she had been behaving childishly by avoiding Naruto and Sakura on purpose. She sighed at herself and promised after tonight she wasn't going to do that anymore Hinata wasn't a child and hardly ever behaved like one she was not weak. She could face them together she knew that she could. A few silent tears rolled down her face She wiped them away. The first star finally twinkled into the sky. She got up off the ground and dusted off her behind. Hinata  activated the Byakugan and searched the surrounding area no one was around. She found her little hidden path and walked off the training ground to what she considered her secret training spot.







Hinata made the hand signs so fast you hardly noticed her hands move she put them on the ground.
" Summoning jutsu."  
A pair of twin loins appeared there names are Rojo and Raja and they were almost as tall as the trees themselves. Rojo was a male and a little bit more aggressive he had dark blue eyes that had no pupils and darker fur then his female counter part. Raja was a very caring female lion with ice blue eyes with no pupils, This was the jutsu that had been passed down by the Hyuga woman for ages.
Rojo spoke
" My lady Hinata."
Hinata ran a hand along his fur coat.
Raja spoke
" My lady Hinata"
Hinata ran her hand along her fur coat
" Rojo and Raja are you both ready to help me with some training tonight ?"
Rojo " Yes lady Hinata"
Raja " Hinata we had been wondering how come it has been so many days since you last summoned us to train with you?"
Raja always worried about Hinata.
Hinata had meant to tell them but that was the night that Naruto had followed her out to the training field and she had never gotten the chance. Hinata smiled
" Oh you see father tacked on another training session at night so I won't be out here by myself as often to summon you. I don't want to exhaust myself and the night I was going to summon you to tell you the boy I liked followed me out here."
Hinata saw Rojo shake his head
" I know that you don't like me keeping you hidden Rojo and Raja but I want to make sure that we work flawlessly together. I missed training with you both."
Rojo " I can't wait till we are in a real battle by your side my lady."
" Rojo and I are ready my lady and you are as well Hinata."
Hinata smiled at them she was happy to have them with her.
" I want to show my team first. You are right we are ready. But even after the first time I bring you into battle I would like it very much if we still trained together?"
" Of course Lady Hinata"
Both loins said this together
Hinata loved them so much her loyal lions.
" I also told Hanabi that one day I would teach her this jutsu. She will be able to do it I am sure and she is almost old enough."
" Any Hyuga lady is lovely to work with I can't wait" Rojo said
" I can not wait it has been so long since two Hyuga woman could summon at once." Raja responded
" Shall we begin Rojo and Raja."





Both loins circled Hinata rather fast she already had her Byakugan activated. Rojo could use water elements that was what the dark blue color of his eyes meant so he started shooting water jets at Hinata she evade them so fast Rojo was very impressed with her. Raja could use ice elements that was what the ice blue color of her eyes meant she begin to shoot ice out of her claws at Hinata. But Hinata just got in stance and used her 8 trig ram s 64 palms protective jutsu the daggers never touched her. Rojo went in for the kill from behind to tackle her. And he thought that he actually had tricked Hinata but it was a substitution.
Rojo " That was excellent lady Hinata."
Hinata came out from behind a tree.
Raja " I think that you have gotten even faster Hinata."
" Thank you both."
" Did you want to use our combination jutsu tonight." Rojo asked
Raja " Some one is approaching the training area lady Hinata."
Hinata activated the Byakugan again Raja was right.
She looked at them and ran a hand through there fur once more
" I will see you both soon."
Rojo " I await the day we will join you in battle."
Raja " Good night my lady Hinata Good luck."
Both loins were gone what did Raja mean by good luck.
