Design for the father in the story I've just finished illustrating about the Māori called Kura's Story.
The real fun part/bastard on this job was that I had to be very historically accurate, but in a complete oxymoron I was told that there is not really that much historical fact know.
*sigh*
They like to make it hard, don't they? I had to use a big chunk of obvious reference for this one because I didn't think it was for print. But it helped to move the design along.
