Arthur was born the seventh so of a seventh son in the working class town of Birmingham England. His father was a tool maker as well as a plummer and his mother worked for a car component firm. He lived in a small two bedroom house with his ten siblings. He attended an under funded school before dropping out at 17 after realizing that he did not have enough credits to graduate. He soon moved out of his house and into a house in Staffordshire but still commuted to work in Birmingham. He worked as a construction site laborer, car factory horn tuner and in a sheet metal factory. Understandably this took a toll on his mental health and suffered from chronic stress.

Like many young people in Birmingham he joined a band to preserve his sanity. He performed as a singer in several blues cover bands but one day after listening to the Black Sabbath song "Paranoid" and fell in love with Heavy Metal.
He formed the band "Mars" with several friends from school but after several mistake bookings(because they shared a name with a jazz band in the town) they changed their name to Iscariot. The band however never really in high demand and after three years together and only a hand full gigs the band broke up.

Realizing his musical career was not going to go anywhere he decides to set his sights on a more productive career. He returned to finish school and pursued a collage degree in teaching. He majored art and music and at twenty seven received his bachelors degree in fine arts.

At twenty nine he moved to Oakhaven and began teaching as a painting instructor and music teacher. Though his band was disbanded he continued to moonlight as a singer in pubs and night clubs. He closely guarded this fact though for fear of compromising his job. He continued this trend for several years onward.

Eventually he would meet student Cody Powell, whom he considered to be like a little brother, little did he know his newest student was in fact female. He always had the feeling that the was something that his student was hiding but he understood Cody's fear of the odds being stacked against her and failure was a distinct possibility.

From that point on he resolved to guide her on her journey into the limelight so she could live the dream he had failed to achieve for himself. Only time will tell if his hopes were wisely invested in a student living a lie.
