Description

I plan to put a gag comic between each chapter. Already that plan has broken down. I couldn't think of one that ties into Chapter 1 ;-) Eventually I'll think of one and move this to after Chapter 2.

I tried something different! I overlaid a texture over the whole page. I like it :-) Here's the texture:

(I also tried it on the next page but it made it too busy.)

The question is, are the rocks too obvious throughout so you could see the end coming? If you didn't see it coming, is it clear how they got on top of the wagon? (I was so thinking ahead to this that Callo is knocking rocks up onto the wagon on page 3 ;-)

I love how the texture in this came out! Gives it kind of an olde-timey sort of feel, and definitely lends itself very well to effectively simplistic trees! :)

And really awesome job at the cloth! It's hard to give cloth so much movement...!
