Literature Text
Long ago, when the great wolves still ruled in the western part of the world, there were two packs divided by the desert. This was a lawless and bloody time, for between the rival packs was the lush Old Land. A beautiful forest rich with prey, a paradise for any wolf.
And over this land the two packs warred. Other packs looked on with pity but anticipated the day when the packs would eventually kill each other off and leave the Old Land free. But in both packs occurred a strange phenomenon. There were wolves born with wings.
None knew why this happened but they accepted it as a deep magic and called those winged wolves the Fledge after fledging birds just learning to fly.
As time passed the wolves' numbers began to dwindle. And then it so happened that River, one of the Fledge from the Northern Pack, met Aspen, the Fledge from the Southern Pack. Their beautiful feathered wings matched and they realized that despite their separate packs they were not so different. In time, the two fell in love.
Now, River's brother, Shadow looked on with disapproval. "This should not be allowed and must be stopped." He said, spreading his dark leathery wings.
Shadow flew off in wrath and gathered the Northern Pack to attack and destroy the Southern Pack once and for all and finally claim the Old Land for themselves. The wolves agreed and fallowed Shadow to destroy the Southern Pack.
It was a terrible battle. Both packs met in the Old Land and fought until the grass was stained red with their own blood. River tried to stop the fighting but Shadow urged the wolves on until only a few weak and wounded wolves remained.
"Stop this!" River growled. "If we continue this fighting soon no one will survive! Think of your pups!"
"Do you really want no future for our young?" Aspen said. The wolves listened uncertainly. "The river and aspen trees are joined here, and so we must join our packs." River said. Shadow let out a snarl. "River is a traitor!" He spat. But as the wolves thought about River's words they realized he was right. If they combined forces they would be the strongest pack in existence and rule over the Old Land as one. River was seeking to unify them, while Shadow was leading them down to death and darkness. They realized that they should have never fallowed his blood thirsty ways.
The wolves had decided but Shadow was still too proud and he leapt forward to kill Aspen and River. And then, River had to do the unthinkable. To protect his mate and his new pack, he had to kill his own brother.
From then on the packs were united and became the Olingland pack after the Old Land they now possessed. And since that day Fledges were born fallowing Aspen's and River's bloodline; but, afraid of history repeating it's self, the ancient wolves passed the Law, that every "evil" Fledge must be killed unless Shadow's posterity returns and seeks revenge to destroy the pack.
And so the Legend of the Fledge was born.

*******DISCLAIMER: This chapter has some mild gore. Just a heads up. ;) *******
Rabeka lay motionless in the cell. She had been banging on the door and crying for what seemed like a whole hour. Obviously at this point, there was no use in trying.
Andrew was now gone, and she was unsure if it was the last time she would ever see him. She went over in her head the things she wanted to tell him, things she didn't have the courage to say before, and the things she was glad to tell him before he was ripped from the cell. She was at least glad she at least had the chance to thank him for doing his best to protect he

Every year, spring brings new life and new opportunities, but with these also come new threats, new dangers. On a warm spring night, deep within a Montana forest, yet another of these primal dramas has come to fruition. Flora and fauna which had established their own footholds on life are trampled and pushed aside underneath three werewolves without a second thought. At this moment, The Chase is their only concern.
This deep within the forest, the green foliage is dense enough to snap back in the face of the immense brown werewolf charging his way through it. But he shrugs off the blows, his drive and focus more effective than any painkillers

Prologue
-Our ancestors once told me that the Earth is no longer a safe place for us. They also told me that long, long ago, when the great-grandfathers of our grandfathers still walked this ground, humans were the rulers of the Earth. Yes, you heard right. We were the alpha species, the leaders, the complete owners of our planet. No one ever dared to take our place, we were way too powerful for them all.-
The old man sat down, as the kids who surrounded him came closer so that they could hear better. Many of them sat next to each other to fight the cold of that starry autumn night. Their breaths condensed in small clouds coming from their mouths. Th
