Watercolor 11" X 17" on Arches 140lbs coldpress watercolor paper
So here it is, my STARSHIP TROOPER tribute painting. Hell it might even be Rico and the gang! If you haven't read the book and you're fan of scifi, mecha, philosophy, or any of the above then get a copy and read that sucker! Even if your not it's just a great book in general (hell I just like Robert A. Heinlein books for the most part
) . I've waited a long time to do this but I'm pleased with the overall painting. The scan came out pretty good but there were some colors that didn't get picked up so I was a little disappointed with that but over all I think it's pretty close to the original. When I have more time I will get it scanned again to see if I can get those missing colors picked up, but I just wanted to get it posted so people can see it!
