EDIT Want to see how I do my stupid comics? There's a video right here: [link]

This marks the first appearance of Athens' owl, Glaukos, in comics. Actually, it's his first appearance since this picture: [link]
He's a Little Owl. :iconyareally:

Theseus and Pirithous Get New Wives
So who knows, one of those silly kids had an idea after their wives died...
"Hey bro, we should totally get daughters of Zeus for our next brides."
In later Athenian retellings, they make it sound like it was Pirithous' idea and he was a bad influence on Theseus.
But in the earlier tradition it seems like it was all Theseus' fault. XD

So they drew straws or something between Helen of Sparta (Most commonly known as Helen of Troy, you know, the cause of the Trojan War when Aphrodite *forgot* Helen was already married? Anyway, this is before the Trojan War so she's still a young'un) and Persephone (Who currently is dividing her time between Earth and the Underworld where she is already married to Hades... and probably the more difficult to 'rescue'.) They promised they'd each help the other get their chosen gal. It looks like Theseus had an easy time of it... so far, anyway.

Ah... the attempted "rescue" of Perseophone... this is definitely gonna end well...

How dumb do you have to be to believe that you can kidnap the wife of a God. And the God of The Dead at that? I mean seriously, 'least Helen wasn't married when the plan was first proposed... and Paris has the "technical" (read: completely pulled out of his ass) excuse of being given her by a Goddess after she was. Sorta, kinda... I'm not really helping with this argument am I?
