Jean Grey

The theme for this past week at the TRDL Weekly Jam [link] is "Green." A pretty open theme, but I, of course, use it as another excuse to draw a redhead. I'm pretty transparent that way.

I don't think I've drawn Jean Grey before, and I wanted to do the swingin' 60s Marvel Girl version of the X-Men character. Back in the simpler days before she died and came back 87* times as Phoenix. Back when she was... a little green, you might say.

Or maybe I'm just looking forward to "X-Men: First Class" opening next week (even though she's not a part of that team).
