inFAMOUS 2 - Cole MacGrath 1

Hurray! First new project in quite some time!! For info on my absence, please take a look at my profile journal.

inFAMOUS is one of my absolute favorite games on the PS3, and needless to say, I'm frickin stoked for its sequel which comes out on June 7th (19 days before my birthday!!). Got my Hero Edition pre-ordered, and am planning on spending that week happily locked in my room while watching what goes down during E3.

So as congrats to Sucker Punch for crafting a phenomenal first outing and brand new IP, as well as getting the opportunity to take their time and make a full sequel (which I've purposefully been staying away from in the news to not spoil as much as possible), Jenna and I have made a Cole MacGrath plush based on his inFAMOUS 2 character design to celebrate.

The two pictures above are the "best" ones to show what he looks like. One front view without his pack strapped on, and a back view with the pack on and the amp strapped in. Please view this second submission for a few alternate shots...

...while the shirt, backpack, amp, and facial features were designed by me. The pants were just modified from the plush tutorial pattern, and I have no clue where the design for the eyes came from, Jenna had it from a while back and we just ironed them right on as we thought they would work great.

Everything here was sewed completely by Jenna and I, except for the first time ever we got to use the assistance of a brand new sewing machine instead of hand-sewing everything like we usually do. Hopefully this will make projects in the future go MUCH faster and cleaner, it definitely helped a bunch for this one.

EDIT: I will also most likely be updating this picture somewhat soon once I can find some decent way to paint Cole's white jean design onto his pants. More on that later.
