I know that I'm in the middle of an event for another group, but I have been wanting to join this group for some time, so here we are. Let's meet the characters!

Grootte & Piove
These two upstart pokemon come from a modern city, compared to Tao Village. The reason they have come at all is to start a business at the village, and eventually modernize the city and be the top tykes of the city. FOr now though, they need to take on missions to be able to have enough money to just open up a shop. Most of the money they had was spent on the travel to Tao Village. Fighting was never of importance back in their former city, so they could be considered low-leveled, thus some of their weaker moves.

The relationship between these two has been friendly, but they are "aquantices" now for the sake of honest business. They wouldn't care who comes to their services, be it good or bad pokemon, just as long as their not wanted and have reasonble profit in line. Also, these two are first cousins! How? Well- Granpa Machamp loved a granny Cacturne, resulting in two Cacnea twin boys. As they grew into Cacturnes, one of the brothers focused on strenght, while the other focused on knowledge. Eventually, the stronger brother Cacturne loved a Ludicolo, resulting in Piove. The other smarter brother loved an Electabuzz, resulting in Grootte at about the same time. How wonderful the system of pokemon breeding is! (It's also why Grootte knows Dynamic Punch and Piove knows Counter.)


Grootte: Species- Elekid
Gender- Male
Nature- Serious, Thoroughly Cunning
Moves- Thundershock (natural)
Thunderwave (Tm-ish)
Protect (Tm-ish)
Dynamic Punch (Grandpa;doesn't really use ever)
Item- Purple Scarf (wears as tie, see pic next to scarf he still has it, but he doesn't use it for now)
Dark blue Fancy Tie (Uses it as an official tie! )
Age in Poke years- 28
Bio: Grootte is something of a smart aleck, and could be considered a slight narccisists depending on your view of him. He is for the most part a calm and serious Elekid, but as his species is, hit the right buttons, and he fuses easily. If there is one thing he absolutely hates, it's romance. He also takes things literally at times, or looks like he's fooled just to play along, it's hard to tell. He's old enough to have evolved into an Electabuzz long ago, but he's stayed as an Elekid for his own reasoning. Size might be one thing, because he has been a Baby form Pokemon for so long, he in is now 5'00", compared to the normal Elekid size of 2'00". Beyond that, he's pretty normal.

There really isn't a leader of the team, but Grootte is the one who usually takes the initiative. He's also sometimes cowardly and would like to avoid fights. The real reason he chose to be in the Merchant guild however, is because he's actually quite lazy; doing rescuer or rogue work is considered TOO MUCH work for him-plus the risk of injury- so Merchant it is. His name means "dimension" in Dutch.


Piove: Species- Lotad Lombre
Gender Male
Nature- Bold, Somewhat Stubborn
Moves- Synthesis (Dad) Surf (Evolution)
Leech Seed (Dad)
Counter (Grandpa)
Nature Power (natural)
Item- Romantically red Bow
Age in Poke years- 28
Bio: Piove has always been something of a somewhat mellow 'mon, compared to Grootte at least. However, he thinks he's absolutely right at times, so he is hard to convice otherwise. Unlike his father, Piove would rather use his head rather than his body, so he joined up with Grootte to go to Tao Village. He isn't the leader of the two, but he sometimes has to take charge when Grootte has had his buttons pushed. Being mellow as he is, he just joined whatever guild Grootte did. However, he's not as scared of pain as Grootte is, so when a fight or flight situation comes, Piove can certainly fight. Piove loves romance, but he makes sure that it is a private hobby of his and not disrupt business and avoid irratating Grootte, who loathes romance. That said, he'll occasionaly and randomly ask you how your love life is, just nod and say "mmm", and go on back to normal. He can't wait to meet the one destined for him as well.

He usually floats around to move, but when he's still, he prefers to sit upright to be able to see how properly. Unlike Grootte, Piove is normal sized Lotad. He will also sit on Grootte's prongs-who doesn't seem to mind- so that he can get a better view of things. Being a Lotad, Piove can't really carry things, but he tries to carry small things when needed.
Ever since he evolved, Piove has become more suave, and he embodies it in his personality. He has also been making full use of his new hands, carrying equipment and using more delicate items with full enjoyment. He is also liking the fact that he has grown an extra foot, and his vision level has increased by two feet as well. When he is not out handling the company or hanging out with others, he likes to go surfing (although that is somewhat odd, what with how the weather is lately). Lombre's are naturally nocturnal though, so he is more tired throughout the day, and only becomes more awake at night. His name is Italian for "Rain". That's LCDC. LCDC is an acrynom for "Los comerciantes del Conocimiento". About Grootte's size; I thought that since Elekid is a baby pokemon, and that baby form pokemon are still technically developing, unlike base form pokemon, baby pokemon continue to grow if they don't evolve at a certain time, thus Grootte's size. I hoped you enjoyed this app, and while I'm here: Who would to be part of LCDC's mission to Sapling Village? They are looking for a rescuer guild/same rank team. While edit this later with missions and whatnot.
