This piece is for the "Still Wicked" Challenge for
as a Level 1 entry.
The thing I like about this piece, personally, is the number of ways you can interpret it. Yes, the Grim Reaper is stealing her soul, but why? Did she sell her soul to get those black lilies? Is she trying to use the lilies to hide from him? Is she offering them to him as a kind of plea against the Grim Reaper stealing her soul? I'm not even sure myself which version of the story I like. (And I'd love to hear others' interpretations of what they think is going on!)

A quick note, I downloaded a dozen or so of *Axeraider70's brushes a while back, so while I think I credited all of the ones I used, I may not have, and I'm having a bit of trouble keeping them all straight when I go through all my zillions of brushes in Photoshop. I'm pretty sure these are the only ones though. I do know that all of the brushes that I used for the soul came from him. (Also, his brushes are AMAZING!)
I would like to extend to everyone the chance to CRITIQUE ME. I don't have a Premium account anymore so I can't specifically ask, but please, feel free to give me constructive criticism.
Now to figure out how to submit this to the contest.
EDIT: Took some suggestions, blended the edges of the models some more, and lowered the yellowness of the skulls.
