Clue Club was one of the last of HB's Scooby Clones that dotted Saturday Morning Cartoons. It was dealth more with straight crime, a prize pig, three special jewels which are being stolen one at a time, or even jet plane. The pilot landed at the field went to lay down and woke up in a cow field.
The gang would get involved and start investigating lLarry was bubble gum chewing leader, with bumbling D.D., Pepper his foil for jokes, and kid genius Dottie. They also a pair of dogs Woofer the bloodhound, and Wimper the Basset Hound. Woofer was a blowhart. Wimper knew Woofer's short comings and just went along with that.
They would follow suspects get into various misadventures. Dottie was considered too young to investigating, she would supply important information to solve the case.
Sadly Pepper never did get into this situation in the show.
