Deviation Actions
Artists join deviantART to share their art and appreciate others. Due to the many artists out there, it’s easy to get towed under and generally obscured from the public.
Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured weekly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.
takes photographs of situations as they are, so not only are his photojouranlism pieces stunning, they are also raw and true to form as well.
mild-wave's Gallery
is a very powerful writer. The thoughts and feelings in FreezeMyBrain's literature is passionately conveyed and the atmosphere created is potent as well.
"In such haggard and exasperated state I had ignored such alarms;
The moon, in its pull, has trapped me here as such tidal pools swarm.
Faithfully and fortunate as fortune leaves me these glowing guides;
Now, as fate had decided, I venture further until the water subsides."
~ An extract from Jigsaw
"Bloodstained sheets and broken belief, nothing hurts; sheer relief
Let me tell you baby, you're too perfect for this circus,
With such precision you deliver the vision in indecision
Not beauty and butterflies but something of the burning kind"
"And as we stand together
Hand in hand,
These moments, these memories;
Their strength never ends."
FreezeMyBrain's Gallery
is a fantastic digital artist who challenges herself in a variety of ways, as proven by her interesting gallery. Her style is still pretty experimental, but she shows good potential overall.

Old BonesThose old bones, sun-bleached and eroded from the restless sand.~ An extract from Old Bones
That salt spray that stings the eyes finds me wide awake again.
This desert that laughs and waves me over to its oasis of dreaming
Dead on my feet I walk into that tidal cavern and collapse.
When I wake upon dreaming, stars haven't lit the sky
But moving they are upon the cave walls, and in moving; alive.
I draw myself up from the floor and settle to a slump;
Such a curious cave for four fluorescent figures emerge to my gaze.
First the noise grows and I stir but settle myself back to sleep,
Second I feel that oceans cold reach taunt and touch my feet,
Third the crabby crustaceans scamper and scurry past me.
In slumbering so soundly rolling waves grew ever near to awake me.
In such haggard and exasperated state I had ignored such alarms;
The moon, in its pull, has trapped me here as such tidal pools swarm.
Faithfully and fortunate as fortune leaves me these glowing guides;

To Gunner,To Gunner,~ An extract from To Gunner
Exposed;
Vulnerable.
Leaving all you once knew,
And the safety and warmth of a loving mother;
To the empty, arid air of a summer month.
And in opening your eyes for the first time,
Know that who you see shall shelter and protect you;
With the love and laughter that you have brought to us.
And in showing you that same love that you have given to us
We lilies bloom together.
For where snow shall soon fall,
And bind us together for warmth,
We sit as a family and share together;
The harvest and ties of the autumn north.
Let us never forget,
That as we came together here;
Watching the first snow flakes fall.
And as we stand together
Hand in hand,
These moments, these memories;
Their strength never ends.
Years from now we may return to that place
Either as one, alone,
Or together again.
And we wander and wonder,
Upon a dream which started there.
For I am as eager to love;
As you embrace such eagerness to live.
"And as we stand together
Hand in hand,
These moments, these memories;
Their strength never ends."

Magic Week - Reverse Caption
The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn't since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn't be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him. He moved faster, twirling and leaping, until even the fallen leaves were dancing around him. When he stopped, all was still. He smiled again, and raised his arms to the sky. The first stars were visible. He watched them for a long
