The first Akhal Teke ever bought by Khamsin Stables, KS El Khalim is a fiesty stallion who doesn't like to be kept waiting in the crossties. Even if his handler is away for less than a minute, he gets annoyed...and he shows it! Although he's gotten much friendlier in the year since he first came to Khamsin Stables, he's still standoffish and hard to handle. However, he is much quieter under saddle, and once he's gotten over his first little bursts of energy and excitement he's quite willing to listen to his rider.

Breeders in the URA, take note: this boy is the first recorded L2 Akhal Teke, and his colt KS Dhesperado is the second recorded L1 Teke (El Khalim was the first). El Khalim was the second recorded L2 horse in the entire URA.
