Streets of Kyoto 3

So Once again I had a chance to go to Japan, my one favorite country in the world.

So what is this?
Me and a friend happened to go shopping for kendo equipment in the area just north of Nijo-jo when we walked upon this park like area. Looks to me like it is just a drainage ditch converted to a a park area.
I sure liked it though.
At this location there were some stepping stones in the stream...which I just had to walk on...
