Otakurist

A friend of mine told me that while he was in Japan (no idea why, possibly for the hell of it) he saw a bunch of American tourists dressed up as Final Fantasy characters "battling" on the sidewalk. When he asked a few people witnessing this, most of them said they hated it, and thought it was stupid. Japan isn't some type of mystical wonderland of anime and pocky, it's a REAL place with REAL people, and the last thing they need to deal with is some lunatic in a costume waving around a cheap plastic weapon. Of course I'm only making assumptions that this happens based off of what a friend who visited Japan told me, so what the hell do I know?
